The absurdity gauge
BY FATOS LUBONJA
Having separated men, after a long absence, our old friend SHISH, the former president of the firm, who was returning from a visit to Turkey, where he consulted doctors there. The hall was full. This had been established by the doctors in Turkey. The result of the consultations with the doctors in the country, where SHISH, the president of the firm, has emerged, confirms an important undertaking. Before setting off, the reaction had been like that of the PD in its races: he works for himself to make him rich and poor. All the more so because of the great concern and hidden energy that came from him, so that he would not forget that he is the son of the firm and that the firm has taken pride of place in all Albanian families. For SHISH, the Albanian government, with all its mechanisms, has been put on alert. Its president called the firm a terrorist organization. With this television appearance, Berisha came across as a signatory of panic. He seemed worried about himself and especially about his firm. Publicly he said that tomorrow and the day after he would fight SHISH. My first view, right after the alarm of the officials, is that this is the person who has destroyed all the pillars of the firm he had devised, he reveals that SHISH was part of the partners’ wrong orientation. Thanks to the government of the president’s “firm” and his own “firm”, people were plunged into a terrible state of anxiety and agitation. In Berisha’s alarms and impatient declarations, driven by unbridled populism and a deep hatred against the deceivers and the enemy, the main thing we do not understand. Where is the fault? Who is the “enemy”? Under these circumstances, no answer can be found. This is the gauge of absurdity. And this gauge is what is leading us toward a new catastrophe. The Albanian people no longer need such a gauge. It needs calm, moderation and true national responsibility. At a time when Kosovo is burning and Albanians are leaving their homes, we cannot be held hostage by a panic organized by day-to-day politics.
